This blogger page is part of a campaign that aims to highlight the positive aspects of Tallaght.

Talk Up Tallaght seeks to counter act the negative effects of internalized oppression which occurs when an individual/group/community is constantly subjected to negative messages about themselves. As the internalized oppression is neutralized or at best countered, it is our hope that the community/group/ individual will begin to see the good and positive aspects of their situation and seek to strengthen and work towards improving their own circumstances and that of their community. Talk Up Tallaght seeks to implement a campaign which will challenge the effects of internalized oppression by highlighting the benefits and positive attributes of Tallaght and the services it provides, and by celebrating its inhabitants, those both known and unknown who play an active role in the community.
